PU foam 420x220x20 mm

The PU foam from EPApack offers an optimal solution for use in shipping boxes that must meet electrostatic requirements. With dimensions of 420x220x20 mm and a 1:1 nub profile, this foam is not only practical but also efficient in application. The pink color of the foam highlights the specific ESD safety according to the standard DIN EN 61340-5-1, which ensures electrostatic dissipation.
The polyurethane material provides a soft, open-cell structure that remains stable at operating temperatures from -10 to 100 °C. The auto-ignition temperature is at 400 °C and the decomposition temperature at 180 °C, ensuring high safety in storage and use. With proper storage, the foam remains usable for up to two years. This foam is available both in the nubbed version and as smooth foam, allowing for flexible application.

These PU foams with napped foam profile are electrostatically dissipative. They are suitable for use in shipping boxes and as upholstery foam. The PU foams are characterized by the following properties:

  • pink
  • polyurethane
  • napped foam profile 1:1, soft, open-cell
  • surface resistance < 1010 Ω
  • dissipative
  • Operating temperature: -10 - 100 °C
  • Auto-ignition temperature: 400 °C
  • Decomposition temperature: 180 °C
  • in compliance with the ESD standard DIN EN 61340-5-1
