The Simco-Ion minION2 is an advanced, mobile ionizing device, specifically designed for use in sensitive environments such as electronic assembly and semiconductor manufacturing. With its compact dimensions of 98 x 136 x 60 mm and a weight that allows for easy portability, it is ideally suited for use directly at workstations or within machines.
The self-balancing offset voltage of ±10 V ensures constant ionization without the need for manual readjustment, while the two-stage fan with an off switch enables rapid discharge of static charges, enhancing the safety and functionality of the devices. The device can be operated with a voltage of 24 VDC and supports the chaining of up to three units to achieve comprehensive coverage of the ionization area of 300 x 1200 mm.
Additionally, the minION2 features a modular wiring system and local LED indicators as well as relay contacts for fault detection. Ozone generation is extremely low at a maximum of 0.005 ppm, allowing for use in ISO 7 class cleanrooms. Despite its high performance, the device is supplied without a plug-in power supply, allowing for flexible adaptation to local power supply conditions.
Developed and manufactured by Simco, this device sets new standards in the effective control of electrostatic discharges.

The Simco-Ion minION2 is a mobile benchtop ionizing blower designed to control electrostatic charges in sensitive environments such as electronics assembly and semiconductor manufacturing. Thanks to its compact design and small footprint, it can also be easily installed in machines (e.g. pick-and-place machines).
