ESD gloves are used in electrostatically protected areas (EPA) to dissipate electrostatic charges from the body in a controlled manner. They protect sensitive electronic components from damage caused by electrostatic discharge (ESD) and contribute to compliance with the requirements of DIN EN 61340-5-1. Made from dissipative materials, they enable safe handling of components in electronics production.
The EPAglove®brand gloves have integrated antistatic fibers that ensure stable discharge values. They have a seamless finish and offer a good fit for long-term use. Depending on requirements, finger cots or disposable gloves are also available, for example for short-term activities or when specific finger areas need to be covered.
