PCSA 2 ESD assembly frame

The PCSA 2 ESD assembly frame is specifically designed for efficient mass production of printed circuits. It offers easy handling during the placement and soldering of circuit boards, which are inserted into the frame between two adjustable guide rails and securely fixed using braking knurled nuts.
The maximum size of the circuit boards can be 500 x 220 mm. A removable center bar maximizes the usable work surface, while the pressure plate, which can be adjusted in distance from the frame, securely presses the components during placement through an ESD-protected foam insert.
After placement, tilting and rotating the holder facilitates the return of the circuit boards to the working position. Even during soldering and cutting of the components, the frame provides a secure hold due to its stable construction. The frame meets the ESD standard DIN EN 61340-5-1, thus ensuring reliable protection against electrostatic discharges.
The mobility of the frame allows for easy transport to various workstations, making it an indispensable tool in production.

PCSA assembly frames

The assembly frames facilitate the equipping and soldering of PCBs, especially for series production.

The PCB are placed and held between the guide rails by locking knurled nuts. The central rail is removable allowing an optimal use of the working surface.

After the assembly the components are pressed by the cover plate with ESD foam insert. The distance of the pressure plate to the frame is adjustable, the lid is closed by springs. The PCBs are moved back into the working position by the raising and turning of the holder.

During the soldering and cutting, the components are held safely. The holding frame can be simply removed and transported to the next workstation.

The assembly frames are equipped with 1 central bar and 2 adjustable guide rails

In compliance with the ESD standard DIN EN 61340-5-1
