Colorex EC ESD flooring
The Colorex EC - ESD flooring from Forbo, a conductive vinyl floor according to DIN EN 649, is specifically designed for demanding technical areas, including ESD zones, operating rooms, intensive care units, cleanrooms, and areas with explosion hazards. This homogeneous, high-pressure compressed flooring has a tile width of 615 x 615 mm and a thickness of 2 mm, making it ideal for use in the electronics and pharmaceutical industries.
With a grounding resistance of 5 x 10^4 to < 10^6 Ohm, the flooring supports personnel grounding through the human-shoe-floor system according to IEC 61340-4-5, ensuring the protection of electronic components from personnel discharges. The surface is smooth and pore-free, emphasizing its suitability for cleanrooms according to ISO class 2 and ensuring minimal particle emission. Its resistance to chemical influences and the ability for residue-free decontamination of radionuclides speak to the high functionality of this flooring.
Additionally, the Colorex EC offers consistent conductivity throughout its entire service life, without the need for volatile antistatics.
