Product Info
The ESD Table/Floor Covering Type 82A3 from 3M offers an efficient solution for preventing electrostatic discharges on work surfaces. This roll material measuring 1.22 x 15.24 m with a total area of 18.59 m² is specifically designed for use in environments where static control is essential. The material thickness is 3.5 mm and the color of the covering is gray.
The construction of the covering includes three layers: A top vinyl layer that is permanently conductive and provides sufficiently low resistance to safely discharge static charges. This layer also protects against potential short circuits caused by contact with the undersides of circuit boards. The middle layer significantly contributes to static discharge with its high conductive properties. The bottom layer made of non-slip foam ensures stability and safety on the floor surface.
The covering complies with the ESD standard DIN EN 61340-5-1 and has a surface resistance of 1 x 10^6 to <1 x 10^9 Ω. Please note that the roll material is supplied without accessories.
