PE foam, dissipative 340x255x10 mm

The PE foam offered here, with dimensions of 340x255x10 mm, is made from high-quality polyethylene and is characterized by its electrostatic discharge capability, which meets the standards of DIN EN 61340-5-1. This material is ideal for use in KLT containers of size 400x300 mm.
The foam is cross-linked, closed-cell, and offers high corrosion resistance and abrasion resistance. Due to its properties, it is excellently suited as insert foam, interlayer, web wall for containers, or as a work surface pad in ESD-protected areas.
The surface resistances vary depending on the side; the skin side has a resistance of 10^5 to 10^6 Ohm, while the non-skin side offers a resistance of 10^7 to 10^8 Ohm.
In addition to electrical conductivity, the foam impresses with a material density of 46 kg/cm³ and a maximum operating temperature of 90 °C. Its robust nature and black color make it a durable and visually appealing choice for technical applications.

PE foam interlayers, dissipative

These PE foam interlayers are electrostatically dissipative. They are covered with a thin layer (skin) on one side. The PE foams are also suitable as interlayers for use in shipping, as workstation underlays and partition walls for containers.

The PE foam interlayers are characterized by the following properties:

  • cross-linked
  • closed-cell
  • corrosion-free
  • abrasion-resistant
  • black
  • typical surface resistance: 105 - 106 Ohm (side with skin)
  • typical surface resistance: 107 - 108 Ohm (side without skin)
  • in compliance with the ESD standard DIN EN 61340-5-1

The interlayers are available in predefined dimensions or as individual cuttings.
