The ESD safety shoe uni6 from ABEBA is a highly functional low shoe, ideally suited for use in ESD-protected work areas. This model is made of breathable, knitted textile and available in black. The size range extends from 35 to 48, ensuring a wide variety of fits.The shoes meet safety class S3 according to standards DIN EN 61340-5-1 and EN ISO 20345:2011. They feature a steel toe cap and a front toe cap protection, offering optimal protection. The lining is enriched with silver ions, which contributes to moisture absorption and improves hygiene. The Active Comfort type insole is replaceable and supports orthopedic adjustments according to DGUV 112-191.
The TPU outsole not only resists oil and gasoline but also provides excellent slip resistance (SRC), further enhancing safety. The shoe is also lightweight at 510 g in size 42 and can be washed at 30 °C, making care easier. The lacing closure allows for individual adjustment to ensure optimal comfort and safety throughout the day.

Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 105 to 3.5 x 107 ohms.
Safety class S3
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic, waterproof and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole, a profiled outsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Steel toe cap
Steel toe caps are somewhat heavier than other materials, but are very stable and resistant. As a rule, they can withstand a force of at least 200 joules.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole steel
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Steel midsoles are not affected by the shape of sharp objects or hazards. However, they only cover 85% of the tread surface. They are often used in the construction industry.
Washability
The shoe can be machine washed (at 30°C or 60°C depending on the model).
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
The DGUV Rule 112-191 defines how foot and knee protection must be properly used – particularly with regard to orthopedic insoles in safety shoes. Only safety shoes that are certified according to this rule may be fitted with custom insoles without impairing their protective function. This ensures that the safety features of the footwear remain fully intact.
