HIGHSHIELD shielding bag 203 x 457 mm

The HIGHSHIELD shielding bag is an effective solution for protecting sensitive electronic components from electrostatic discharges and field inductions. With a size of 203 x 457 mm, this shielding bag offers an optimal size for a variety of applications. The bags are made from a multilayer material structure that includes metallization by aluminum deposition and an inner layer of permanently antistatic, amine-free polyethylene.

The outer layer is made of dissipative polyester, while the inner layer is made of dissipative polyethylene, both with a surface resistance of 10^9 to 10^10 Ohm. This ensures controlled dissipation of existing charges and prevents spontaneous discharges, which is especially important for assemblies with batteries and accumulators.

The technical specifications include a thickness of 0.077 mm and a packaging unit of 100 pieces per package. The bags are not resealable, however, they are recyclable and sealable according to DIN EN 61340-5-1, which underscores their sustainability and safety. Transparent in color, they allow for easy identification of the contents.

HIGHSHIELD Shielding bags

The dissipative metallized HIGHSHIELD shielding bags protect electronic parts and components from electrostatic discharge (ESD) and prevent static charge on the bag, which could damage ESD-prone parts and assemblies.

The bags have the following common properties:

  • heat-sealable
  • recyclable
  • non-abrasive
  • Exterior - dissipative polyester, surface resistance RS = 109 - 1010 Ω
  • Metallization - aluminized 
  • Interior - dissipative polyethylene, surface resistance RS = 109 - 1010 Ω
  • Electrostatic shielding of < 10 nJ (Energy Test)
  • Multilayer structure, transparent
  • High protection against field induction, lowest triboelectrical charge
  • Controlled dissipation of existing charges without spontaneous discharge
  • For devices with disposable and rechargeable batteries
  • Side welded seam
  • Standard imprint: ESD warning symbol, type designation, recycling symbol and LOT no.
