The PU foam from EPApack, measuring 490x460x20 mm, is a high-quality solution for use in shipping boxes that meet the electrostatic requirements according to the ESD standard DIN EN 61340-5-1. This product is available in a soft, open-cell design with a 1:1 nub profile and is easily identifiable by its pink color. The electrostatically dissipative foam is capable of creating a safe environment for transporting sensitive electronic components.
Technical specifications include a length of 490 mm, a width of 460 mm, and a thickness of 20 mm. The polyurethane material ensures an operating temperature range from -10 to 100 °C and offers a self-ignition temperature of 400 °C and a decomposition temperature of 180 °C. These PU foams with napped foam profile are electrostatically dissipative. They are suitable for use in shipping boxes and as upholstery foam. The PU foams are characterized by the following properties:

  • pink
  • polyurethane
  • napped foam profile 1:1, soft, open-cell
  • surface resistance < 1010 Ω
  • dissipative
  • Operating temperature: -10 - 100 °C
  • Auto-ignition temperature: 400 °C
  • Decomposition temperature: 180 °C
