The PU foam from EPApack, measuring 550x350x20 mm, is characterized by its electrostatic dissipative property, which complies with the DIN EN 61340-5-1 standard. This open-cell, soft foam is available in pink and features a self-adhesive smooth side, making it ideal for use as an insert in shipping boxes.
The product is available both in a 1:1 nub profile and as smooth foam, offering versatile application possibilities. The conductivity of the material is dischargeable, providing additional safety when handling electrostatically sensitive components.
The polyurethane material ensures durability of up to 2 years with proper storage. With these features, the PU foam is an excellent choice for technical applications that require both protection and antistatic properties.

PU Foam for shipping boxes

These soft PU foams are electrostatically dissipative. They are suitable for use in shipping boxes and are available in the napped foam profile 1:1 or smooth foam versions. The PU foams are characterized by the following properties:

  • pink
  • polyurethane
  • open-cell
  • Operating temperature: -10 - 100 °C
  • Auto-ignition temperature: 400 °C
  • Decomposition temperature: 180 °C
  • in compliance with the ESD standard DIN EN 61340-5-1
