The offered PE foam is characterized by its electrostatic discharge capability and its suitability for various applications in ESD-protected areas. This closed-cell, cross-linked, and corrosion-free foam is available in black and offers excellent abrasion resistance. The foam is ideal for use as plug-in foam, interlayer, web wall for containers, or as a workstation underlay, and meets the ESD standard DIN EN 61340-5-1.
The specific version of this product, the PE10 foam ESD with a thickness of 10 mm, has a material density of 46 kg/cm³ and can withstand temperatures up to 90 °C. The typical surface resistance varies depending on the surface condition: 10^5 - 10^6 Ohm on the skin side and 10^7 - 10^8 Ohm on the non-skin side. The volume resistance ranges between 10^5 and 10^7 Ω, highlighting the high conductivity of the material.
The dimensional tolerance for the cuts is +/- 1%, which allows for precise use in technical applications. This PE foam is a reliable choice for professionals who need high-quality ESD-safe materials.

PE foam interlayers, dissipative

These PE foam interlayers are electrostatically dissipative. They are covered with a thin layer (skin) on one side. The PE foams are also suitable for use as plug-in foam, workstation underlays and partition walls for containers.

The PE foam interlayers are characterized by the following properties:

  • cross-linked
  • closed-cell
  • corrosion-free
  • abrasion-resistant
  • black
  • typical surface resistance: 105 - 106 Ohm (side with skin)
  • typical surface resistance: 107 - 108 Ohm (side without skin)
  • in compliance with the ESD standard DIN EN 61340-5-1

The interlayers are available in predefined dimensions or as individual cuttings.
