Colorex SD ESD flooring
The Colorex SD ESD flooring from Forbo is a highly functional vinyl floor specifically developed for use in environments that require both conductive and insulating properties. With a ground resistance of 10^6 to 10^8 Ω and insulation according to VDE 0100-600, this flooring effectively protects individuals from electrical hazards under 500 V. The tiles, measuring 615 x 615 mm and 2 mm thick, are available in various colors which can be seen on the sample card.
The homogeneous composition without volatile antistatics ensures consistent conductivity throughout the entire lifespan, regardless of air humidity and temperature. This flooring is particularly resistant to mechanical and dynamic stresses and offers excellent chemical resistance as well as 100% repairability in case of deep scratches or burns.
Colorex SD is flame retardant (fire class Bfl – s1) and supports efficient cleaning, making it ideal for use in cleanrooms, laboratories, radiological areas, and in the electrical and pharmaceutical industries. With a surface weight of 3.2 kg/m² and excellent dimensional stability ≤ 0.05% according to EN ISO 23999, this flooring provides a durable solution for demanding industrial applications. Installation is performed on a fully smoothed substrate with conductive dispersion adhesive to maximize electrical properties.
