PE foam, dissipative 353x253x3 mm

The electrostatically conductive PE foam interlayers from EPAstore offer an efficient solution for the safe storage and transport of sensitive electronic components. These interlayers, measuring 353x253x3 mm, are made from high-quality polyethylene with a material density of 46 kg/cm³ and can tolerate a maximum operating temperature of 90 °C.
The surface of these black foams is coated on one side with a thin layer that provides a typical surface resistance of 10^5 to 10^6 Ohms, while the uncoated side has a resistance of 10^7 to 10^8 Ohms. These properties meet the ESD standard DIN EN 61340-5-1, making them ideal for use as plug-in foam, interlayers, or partition walls for containers, as well as work surface mats.
In addition, the PE foams are characterized by their cross-linked, closed-cell structure, which makes them corrosion-free and abrasion-resistant. Available in standard dimensions or as custom cuts, these interlayers fit perfectly into containers measuring 400x300 mm.

PE foam interlayers, dissipative

These PE foam interlayers are electrostatically dissipative. They are covered with a thin layer (skin) on one side. The PE foams are also suitable as interlayers for use in shipping, as workstation underlays and partition walls for containers.

The PE foam interlayers are characterized by the following properties:

  • cross-linked
  • closed-cell
  • corrosion-free
  • abrasion-resistant
  • black
  • typical surface resistance: 105 - 106 Ohm (side with skin)
  • typical surface resistance: 107 - 108 Ohm (side without skin)
  • in compliance with the ESD standard DIN EN 61340-5-1

The interlayers are available in predefined dimensions or as individual cuttings.
