ESD Safety shoe Sports Paul
The ESD safety shoe "Sports, Paul" by BAAK combines sportiness with the highest safety. The upper material made of cow suede leather and mesh is both breathable and robust, complemented by reflective applications for better visibility. The steel toe cap and the metal-free penetration protection offer optimal protection, while the PU midsole and the slip-resistant PU outsole with flex line facilitate the rolling of the foot and guarantee excellent adhesion.The shoes are certified according to EN ISO 20345:2011 S1P SRC and meet the requirements of DGUV Rule 112-191 for orthopedic inserts according to ÖNORM Z 1259. The Baak Softstep insole is replaceable, which provides additional comfort. Available in sizes 38 to 48 and in the color combination blue/gray, this low shoe is characterized by its antistatic and ESD-compliant equipment. The closed dust flap and the padded tongue increase wearing comfort, while the oil and fuel resistance of the sole ensures the durability of the shoe. Weighing only 580 g in size 42, the "Sports, Paul" is ideal for long workdays.

ESD approved
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 105 to 3.5 x 107 ohms.
Safety class S1P
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Steel toe cap
Steel toe caps are somewhat heavier than other materials, but are very stable and resistant. As a rule, they can withstand a force of at least 200 joules.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
The DGUV Rule 112-191 defines how foot and knee protection must be properly used – particularly with regard to orthopedic insoles in safety shoes. Only safety shoes that are certified according to this rule may be fitted with custom insoles without impairing their protective function. This ensures that the safety features of the footwear remain fully intact.
