PE foam plate, dissipative 1000x1000x6 mm

The PE foam board with dimensions 1000x1000x6 mm is made from high-quality polyethylene and offers optimal safety due to its electrostatic discharge capability when used in ESD-sensitive environments. The board meets the requirements of the ESD standard DIN EN 61340-5-1 and shows a typical surface resistance between 10^5 and 10^7 Ohm.
The black, closed-cell and cross-linked structure of the material makes the board corrosion-free and abrasion-resistant. Additionally, it can be used up to an operating temperature of 90 °C. The board is versatile, for example, as plug-in foam, interlayers for containers, web walls for containers, or workplace mats.
One side of the board has a skin that offers a resistance of 10^5 - 10^6 Ohm, while the side without skin shows a resistance of 10^7 - 10^8 Ohm. These characteristics make it an ideal choice for technical applications where reliability and durability are required.

PE foam interlayers, dissipative

These PE foam interlayers are electrostatically dissipative. They are covered with a thin layer (skin) on one side. The PE foams are also suitable for use as workstation underlays and partition walls for containers.

The PE foam interlayers are characterized by the following properties:

  • cross-linked
  • closed-cell
  • corrosion-free
  • abrasion-resistant
  • black
  • typical surface resistance: 105 - 106 Ohm (side with skin)
  • typical surface resistance: 107 - 108 Ohm (side without skin)
  • in compliance with the ESD standard DIN EN 61340-5-1

The interlayers are available in predefined dimensions or as individual cuttings.
