ESD safety shoe UP55 Dex black

The Dex ESD safety shoe by Lupos, model UP55, is an excellent choice for professionals who need both protection and comfort at the workplace. This black low shoe is available in sizes 38 to 47 and meets the standards DIN EN 61340-5-1 and EN ISO 20345 (S1P, FO, SRC).
Equipped with an aluminum toe cap and composite material puncture protection, the shoe provides effective protection. The upper material made of breathable nylon and suede, combined with a super breathable, absorbent lining, ensures optimal air circulation and moisture management. The Infinergy® midsole from BASF promotes energy recovery, while the PU outsole with a slight heel provides additional stability and is resistant to oil, acid, and gasoline.
For personalized comfort, the shoe features replaceable Memory Gel ESD insoles, which also allow for orthopedic adjustments according to DGUV 112-191 and ÖNORM Z 1259. Suitable for both women and men, the shoe has a practical lace-up closure and meets the requirements of the SRC slip resistance class to ensure safe footing on slippery surfaces.

ESD approved
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 105 to 3.5 x 107 ohms.
Safety class S1P
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Aluminum toe cap
Aluminum toe caps are approx. 40 % lighter than steel caps, but do not rust. They have very high stability and durability and are recyclable.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
The DGUV Rule 112-191 defines how foot and knee protection must be properly used – particularly with regard to orthopedic insoles in safety shoes. Only safety shoes that are certified according to this rule may be fitted with custom insoles without impairing their protective function. This ensures that the safety features of the footwear remain fully intact.
BASF Infinergy®
Elastic like rubber, but resiliently light. The world's first expanded thermoplastic polyurethane (E-TPU). Combines the properties of TPU with the advantages of foams. Infinergy® has a low density, is extremely elastic and abrasion-resistant and has very good resilience. Infinergy® also has a permanent load-bearing capacity in a wide temperature range (-20 to over +40°C).

Safety shoe UP55 Dex

The Dex safety shoe in the UP55 series from Lupos combines advanced safety technology with comfort and design. This low shoe is specially designed for use in ESD-protected areas and complies with the DIN EN 61340-5-1 and EN ISO 20345, S1P, SRC standards. The upper material is made of highly breathable nylon, which, together with the super-breathable, absorbent lining, ensures an optimum foot climate.

The Infinergy® midsole from BASF offers excellent rebound, while the PU outsole is not only resistant to oil, acid and petrol, but also has excellent slip-resistant properties. The aluminum toe cap provides effective protection against impact and pressure. The lace fastening ensures a secure fit. The option of using orthopedic insoles in accordance with DGUV 112-191 or replaceable insoles guarantees additional comfort.
