HIGHSHIELD shielding bag 356 x 457 mm

The HIGHSHIELD shielding bag, measuring 356 x 457 mm, is an effective solution for protecting electrostatically sensitive assemblies. The bags are made from a multi-layer material construction consisting of an outer dissipative polyester and an inner, permanently antistatic and amine-free polyethylene known as Permastat. The metallized surface by aluminum vapor deposition and the integrated side seam weld ensure high shielding against field induction and controlled dissipation of existing charges without causing spontaneous discharges.
These properties make the bag particularly suitable for use with assemblies containing batteries and accumulators. The surface and volume resistance ranges between 10^9 and 10^10 Ohm, categorizing the bags in the electrostatic shielding category with less than 10 nJ. Moreover, the bags are transparent, resealable, and recyclable according to DIN EN 61340-5-1, making them an environmentally friendly choice.
The packaging unit includes 100 pieces, each marked with a standard print that includes the ESD warning symbol, the type designation, the recycling symbol, and the LOT number.

The dissipative metallized HIGHSHIELD shielding bags Zip protect electronic parts and components from electrostatic discharge (ESD) and prevent static charge on the bag, which could damage ESD-prone parts and assemblies.

The bags have the following common properties:

  • Exterior -　dissipative polyester, surface resistance RS = 109 - 1010 Ω
