The workplace mat End Piece ESD ergolastec Vario A Type H is specifically designed for environments where electrostatic discharges pose risks to people and sensitive electronic components. This mat is electrically conductive and efficiently prevents sparking caused by electrostatic discharges.
Equipped with fire protection class Bfl-s1, it not only provides safety but also offers a high-quality appearance and slip resistance. The optimally adjusted pivot point and the stability of the mat ensure stability and comfort at the workplace. Moreover, it is easy to clean and particularly gentle on the back due to its special rubber blend and geometry on the backside. These characteristics make it ideal for individuals who spend long periods standing, as it reduces back pain and provides shock absorption and an activating effect.
Due to its robustness and material quality, the mat is particularly suitable for use in multi-shift operations (24/7) and additionally protects against cold floors. Within the product family, it offers a unique combination of safety, comfort, and durability, which also makes it differ in color and shape from other ergolastec mats.

ergolastec® ESD floor mats Vario A with/without interlocking system

The ERGOLASTEC® VARIO ESD is an electrically conductive workplace mat for environments in which electrostatic discharges pose a potential danger to people and electronic components. This electrically conductive mat effectively prevents sparking caused by electrical discharge. The mat is characterized by the following properties:

  • Fire protection class Bfl-s1
  • high-quality appearance
  • Optimally coordinated pivot point
  • Slip resistance
  • Easy to clean
  • particularly easy on the back: the mat reduces back pain for people who work standing up for long periods of time. The elastic properties of the rubber compound and the special geometry on the back give the mat a shock-absorbing and activating effect.
  • Durability: the ERGOLASTEC® VARIO Log Plus ESD workstation mat is ideal for multi-shift operation (24/7)
  • Cold protection thanks to its strength and high-quality materials.

Within this product family, the mats differ in size and shape. Type A is a mat without interlocking system. It has beveled edges all around.

The interlocking technology is characterized by the following properties:

  • Can be combined with each other as required
  • Flexible and simple horizontal and vertical mat connection possible
  • Simple installation without fixing to the subfloor
  • Mat size corresponds to the workplace dimensions in the production area in accordance with DIN 33406

The Vario A mats differ from the Vario G mats in color.

Ideal for workplaces with walking, standing and turning movements.

Can also be used in explosion-protected areas. Inspection and acceptance by a specialist is absolutely essential!

Ergonomics and surface geometry

The cushioning RFLX structure on the underside activates blood circulation and, in combination with the surfaces, provides appropriate pressure relief through intuitive balancing movements.

Awarded the AGR seal of approval, the ergonomic mat promotes back health, can reduce downtime and increase employee productivity..

 

Thanks to the surface geometries, the rubber mat can be used as an orientation aid for visually impaired people.

Material

SBR (styrene-butadiene rubber)

- more flexible at low temperatures

- more suitable for applications without heavy chemical exposure

 

NBR (acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber)

- significantly higher resistance to oil, petrol and other hydrocarbons

- more suitable for applications involving contact with oils and chemical substances

 

 

The thickness and high-quality material protects against unhealthy floor cold and is suitable for multi-shift operation.

The rubber mat is electrically conductive in accordance with EN 61340-4-1 (surface resistance ≤ 107 Ohm) and is suitable for the special requirements of electronic and microelectronic workstations. All versions are marked with the ESD safety label.
